If you want to educate yourself further in preparation to filing and/or processing your French visa or Dubai visa, you have come to the right place. There are a few guidelines you must take into consideration when you are applying for a French Visa.
Are You Really Serious with Getting a French Visa?
France welcomes people to visit their place and at times needs other nationals to avail or apply for a France Visa before they can come, but sometimes there’s no need for it. This condition depends on:
- From which country you belong
- Depending on the Schengen Agreement, they look into if you are holding a residence permit in France or from another country or not
- How long you intend to stay
- Which part of the French Republic you want to go to
Luxembourg, Greece, Malta, Austrai, France, Finland, Estonia, Czech Republic, Belgium, Austria, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Switzerland and more are part of the European territory of France.
Citizens from the following countries do not need to present a France Visa :
1.Countries that are members of the European Economic Area, European Union and those that are members of Schengen such as Bermuda, Brazil, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Holy See, Honduras, Japan, Malaysia, Monaco, Mexico, Austria, Andorra, Japan, Malaysia and many more.
2.Those holders of passports that have been issued by the Special Administrative Region of Macao of the People’s Republic of China and those by Hong Kong Special Administrative Region
3.Those people who hold residence permit or travel documents from the countries that are mentioned above as member of the Schengen Agreement and those who hold a France residence permit.
While France visa is not required for those citizens who meet the requirements mentioned above, they are still subject to the following terms and conditions:
- Declaration of the number of days of stay and must understand that they are only allowed to stay for a duration of 90 days
- Statement of valid reasons why they intend to visit France. Examples could be for tour, sight-seeing, family visits, attend a special occasion for a friend and more.
- A France Visa is required if you are planning to stay for more than 90 days
Thus, if you plan to stay for more than 90 days, then you’ll surely need to apply for a French Visa specially if you aren’t a member or is not part of those countries listed above. Here are your requirements then:
